Oversized Mirror Delivery, Made Simple.
For larger framed mirrors, we use LTL freight shipping and custom pallet packaging to give your order the extra protection it needs from our facility to your home.
What is LTL delivery?
Some custom framed mirrors are too large to ship through standard ground carriers. When that happens, your mirror will ship by less-than-truckload (LTL) freight, which means it is carefully packaged on a pallet and delivered by a freight carrier instead of a standard parcel service.
This helps protect larger mirrors during transit and gives your order the extra handling it needs to arrive safely.
Oversized LTL Shipping FAQs
When does LTL freight shipping apply?
LTL freight shipping applies to oversized Framed Mirror orders that exceed our standard ground shipping size limits, which is when the width plus the height of your framed mirror exceeds 88".
If your mirror requires LTL delivery, this will be reflected during the ordering process or at checkout.
What is the LTL freight handling fee?
Oversized Framed Mirror orders that require LTL freight shipping include a $325 handling fee within the contiguous United States. This fee helps cover the cost of custom pallet packaging, freight handling, and oversized delivery requirements.
Only one LTL handling fee applies per eligible order.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or other non-contiguous locations may require additional fees.
How is the mirror packaged?
Your oversized framed mirror is packaged on a custom-built pallet designed to fit your mirror’s size.
Because each mirror is made to order, the pallet and packaging are built around the specific dimensions of your order. This helps keep the mirror secure during transit and reduces the risk of damage during freight handling.
How does delivery work?
- Once your order is ready to ship, it will be picked up by a freight carrier for LTL delivery.
- The carrier will contact you using the phone number provided on your order to schedule a delivery appointment. In most cases, the carrier will reach out before delivery so you can confirm a delivery window.
- Someone must be available to receive and sign for the shipment when it arrives.
* All LTL deliveries from Frame My Mirror are curbside deliveries only. We do not offer white glove service or inside-deliveries at this time.
How do I sign for delivery?
- Please inspect your shipment before signing for it.
- Check the pallet and packaging for any visible damage. If you notice damage, take photos before unpacking and note the damage with the carrier when signing.
- If the mirror appears damaged, contact our team right away so we can help.
What do I do with the pallet?
LTL shipments are delivered on a pallet. The pallet is considered part of the shipment, and disposal of the pallet is the customer’s responsibility.
We recommend having someone available to help move the mirror safely once it has been delivered.
Are oversized LTL orders returnable?
Oversized Framed Mirror orders shipped by LTL freight are not eligible for return.
Because these mirrors are custom made to your exact size and require special freight packaging, they cannot be returned once shipped.
